Western Tech announces New Massage Therapy Program Director

El Paso, Texas – April 19, 2017 – Western Technical College has announced  Pablo Vargas (LMT, MTI, and Licensed Massage Therapist/ Instructor) as the new Director of the Massage Therapy Program. 

 

Vargas is a graduate from the Massage Therapy Program at Western Tech and has been providing massage therapy services since 2002, working in both El Paso and Austin.  He earned his B.S in Kinesiology from New Mexico State University (NMSU) in 2009 and was offered an instructor position at Western Tech.  Vargas’s therapy and instruction have helped people relieve the pain of body discomfort from stress and injuries.  He is also fully trained in various modalities in massage therapy including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point, and hot stone.

 

“Mr. Vargas’s extensive understanding of how the body works and his teaching background makes him the best educator for running the Massage Therapy Program,” said Brad Kuykendall, Chief Executive Officer of Western Tech.  “We look forward to broadening the program and gaining more exposure in the field.”
