Certificate Program

Program length: 15 months daytime; 23 months evenings
This course is approximately 20 percent classroom training and 80 percent hands-on training.

Welding is a hands-on art form that many industries rely on today.

Students in this exciting program learn to work from welding blueprints and develop skills in GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG), Inner-Shield arc welding (FCAW), and SMAW (ARC). You'll also learn carbon arc-air cutting, cutting and welding with oxy-acetylene and metallurgy.

  • Students receive a complete tool set to use in school and keep when they graduate.
  • Our welding program director is a Certified Welding Inspector and Certified Welding Educator.
  • As a part of your program you will have the opportunity to do an externship in the welding industry to gain real-world experience while you earn college credit.
