Associate of Occupational Studies Degree

Program length: 23 months daytime; 27 months evenings
This course is approximately 50 percent classroom training and 50 percent hands-on training.

This hands-on program will have you working on a wide variety of electronics that make today's world run. You'll learn to work on computer workstations, microwave equipment, satellite communications equipment, fiber optics equipment and other electronics. From power supplies and amplifiers to circuits and programmable logic controllers, we'll help you to become skilled in microcomputer technology.

I enjoy guiding students and giving them the tools to investigate, discover and apply their learning to real-life situations.

–Ernest Gomez, EET Instructor

Graduates are eligible to test for professional certifications such as Associate-level Certified Electronics Technicians,
Journeymen Certified Electronics Technicians in Communications, Fiber Optics Association professionals and Comptia A+.

As part of your program you will have the opportunity to do an externship in the electronics industry to gain real-world experience while you earn college credit.
