Program length: 10 months daytime; 14 months evenings
This course is approximately 50 percent classroom training and 50 percent hands-on training.
Do you want to work in a clinic, doctor's office or hospital? This program cross-trains students for multiple medical positions. Office skills learned include medical terminology, billing and bookkeeping, electronic charting, word processing and patient data collection. Clinical skills learned include phlebotomy (blood drawing), EKG and hemodialysis.
This program is approved by the National Health Career Association for certification testing.

Graduates are also eligible to test for National Registered Certified Medical Assistant approved by the National Association for Health Professionals.
As part of your program you will have the opportunity to do an externship in the medical industry to gain real-world experience while you earn college credit.
