Advanced Welding Technology

A Passion to Build Metal

Welding is a hands-on art form that many industries rely on today. The Advanced Welding Program will teach you the techniques and skills to turn your talent into a successful career. Our Welding Program Director is a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) and Certified Welding Educator (CWE), so the program is overseen by a highly credentialed individual. You’ll learn to work from blueprints and translate plans into metal reality.

As part of your training, you will receive a complete tool set to use during our Welding Program that you’ll keep when you graduate. Students in our Welding Program learn to work from blueprints and develop skills in Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW), and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW). You’ll also learn carbon arc-air cutting, cutting and welding with oxy-acetylene, and metallurgy.
