Q - What is the WTC Alert System?

Q - When will WTC Alert be used?
A - WTC Alert will be used to alert Western Technical College students, faculty and staff of an emergency on or around campus; campus closures; or class delays; important school announcements.
Q - Will I receive a test alert message after I have subscribed?
A - To ensure optimal performance of the WTC Alert System there will be periodic testing conducted.
Q - Where can I update my information?
A - CURRENT STUDENTS CONTACT INFO UPDATE FORM
A- EMPLOYEES CONTACT HR DEPARTMENT.
Q - What if I forget to update my information if something changes such as my e-mail or phone number?
A - You will not receive an alert text and/or email depending on what contact information you did not update.
Q - Will my contact information be shared?
A - No, Western Technical College will not share your information with any third party sources.
Q - Will registering to the WTC Alert System cost me anything?
A - There is NO charge to register with the WTC Alert System. However, your cell phone provider may charge a fee for delivery of text messages based on your calling plan.
