High School Scholarships

According to federal reports, the vast majority of new jobs in the U.S. do not require a traditional four-year degree, but will require training beyond high school. Scholarships aimed at high school seniors encourage them to enter high-tech career training. Secondarily, these programs assist economically disadvantaged students who, although academically capable, may not otherwise be able to fully afford specialized career training.

Program Scholarships

Western Tech awards five scholarships in each eligible program of study every year. Scholarship amounts are calculated as follows: 1st = 25% of tuition, 2nd = 20%, 3rd = 15%, 4th = 10% and 5th = 5% of tuition in each program.

ICAN Scholarship Endowment

Western Tech, in partnership with the local business community and educational institutions, also offers one full-tuition scholarship each year to the student’s program of choice. This amount is not a cash award, is not transferable, and may only be used at Western Tech. WTC High School Scholarships are available to all students graduating from high school in the spring. Please contact your counselor or career center, or the Western Tech offices of admissions for an application and additional criteria.
