It is that time again at WTC. If you are interested in holding strong with that New Year’s resolution to get healthy, opt in for a massage at the Student Intern Clinic at the Northeast Branch Campus. It is the perfect way to start off the New Year. Victor Terrazas, Massage Therapy Program Director, notes that we take care of so many things every day like cutting the grass, maintaining the air conditioner, and maintenance to our vehicles, but we fail to take care of our own bodies. One way to care for ourselves is through massage therapy which can decrease stress and increase the circulation of blood to muscles and tissues overall contributing to a healthier life style. To help transition to your new healthy life style, book an appointment for a massage today.
The Clinic will run from January 14th through February 17th so time is running out. There are different options to choose from starting from the $15 one hour Swedish style massage with attention paid to back, arms, legs, neck, feet, and face. The next option is the $20 Signature Deep Pressure Massage; this massage can focus on certain areas upon request, but is designed to target deeper layers of muscle to lengthen and relax them. The final option is the $25 one and a half hour rejuvenation, which is a combination of the first two massages, where attention is paid to both surface and deeper areas of the body. There are even discounts for military and students.
The entire clinic is organized and run by current Massage Therapy students as they participate to earn the hours of the practice time they need to complete their program all the while gaining valuable experience in the process, making the appointments and providing the massages. If you are interested in scheduling a massage or just want more information please call (915) 231-4945. Call and sign up for your massage today, and get on the path to a healthier you this new year.
