For the third time,  Western Technical College is sponsoring El Paso's world-ranked boxer, Antonio Escalante, in his next bout against Miguel Roman of Juarez. Escalante (21-2, 14 knockouts) is ranked No. 1 in the world at 122 pounds by the WBA, No. 2 by the WBO and No. 5 by the IBF. In a recent press conference, Escalante commented about Roman saying, "He's tough. I am tough, too. But there can't be two kings of the jungle, and there can't be two kings of the border."
