Employers Are Looking to Hire Our Grads
At a recent evening job fair at the Branch Campus intended for students to help find and navigate career options, students gathered to speak with potential employers and hand over their resumes. Alfredo Piedra of Impresario says, “I have been working with Western Technical College to identify students we might hire in the future. We do plan on hiring especially from the Health Information Technology Program. We are looking to fill positions in billing and coding either for our company or for our client’s. We know that WTC graduates are very qualified and that they receive a very high level of education.”
Another employer attending the job fair, Alejandro Martell owner of Grace Therapeutic says, “I am a graduate of the Massage Therapy Program, and we hire WTC students. Most of our employees and contractors come from Western Tech. I just know that they have a really good program.” Other employers in attendance that were looking to hire WTC graduates include Lofton Staffing, International Network Teams, and Southwest Wellness Clinic.
