Length: 89 weeks / 22.25 months daytime.
This Physical Therapy program is approximately 50 percent classroom training and 50 percent hands-on training.
When you graduate from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program, you will be awarded an Associate of Applied Science (AAS degree) in Physical Therapist Assistant and will be eligible to take the physical therapist assistant licensing and jurisprudence examinations. You must pass these examinations to apply for your license to practice as a physical therapist assistant in Texas. Most states do require licensure to practice as a physical therapist assistant.
