WTC takes precautions against the Coronavirus (COVID-19)

March 9, 2020

Western Technical College is taking all developments concerning the coronavirus (COVID-19) seriously. As an institution the safety of our guests, faculty, staff, and students is extremely important. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, Western Tech has developed a plan of action for students and staff to continue studies/work in the event of any closures. In addition, we have taken preventative steps to minimize potential risks. All classrooms, offices, and general areas have been stocked with disinfectant wipes, spray, and hand sanitizers. We highly encourage all to utilize the supplies and practice non-contact salutations, washing of hands throughout the day, and limited use of hands on public surfaces. In addition, we strongly recommend those who experience flu like symptoms to seek medical attention and not expose anyone to any potential sicknesses.

We will continue to monitor the situation and be in contact with health authorities for developing updates. Our number one priority is the well-being of our students, guests, faculty, and staff.
