Mr. Brown, Your Legacy Lives On!

November 9, 2020

This past weekend, El Paso lost a great educator, coach, father, and man, Coach Charlie Brown.  He was loved by many and had huge impacts on other coaches, students, and instructors throughout the community.

His impact was just as big at Western Tech. Mr. Brown started mentoring and developing faculty at Western Tech in 2007.  Through the years, he developed, coached, and mentored our instructors, staff, and students. His various teaching methods, experiences, training, and knowledge gave our instructors the skills they needed to be better in the classroom.  For that, we are internally grateful.

Mr. Brown was a caring man and exemplified patience, loyalty, and integrity. He had a great sense of humor and a HUGE heart. He had a smile that brightened any classroom and was loved by everyone at the college.  Along with his family and the many that knew him, we too, love him and we will miss him dearly.

Western Tech has set up a GoFundMe account for anyone that would like to contribute to support his family. All donations will be sent to his family.

Mr. Brown, you may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

Our love, sympathy, and prayers go to his family during this difficult time.
